LV Schutterwald Network

The LV Schutterwald network is a generic 0.4 kV network supplied by 14 MV/LV transformer stations of the Oberrhein network. It represents 1,506 customers and can optionally include 1,251 heat pumps from the underlying study. The network also contains geographical information for its buses and lines and can be returned as 14 separate subnetworks.

pandapower.networks.lv_schutterwald(separation_by_sub=False, include_heat_pumps=False, **kwargs)

Loads the Schutterwald network, a generic 0.4 kV network serviced by 14 MV/LV transformer stations of the Oberrhein network. The network supplies 1506 customers with the option of including 1251 heat pumps.

The network also includes geographical information of lines and buses for plotting.

Parameters:

  • separation_by_sub (bool, False) – if True, returns the network as 14 separate sections, one for each substation

  • include_heat_pumps (bool, False) – if True, includes the heat pumps from the study

Returns:

the complete network, or its 14 sections if separation_by_sub is True
